Removal Procedure
  1. Disconnect the battery negative cable. Refer to Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection .
  2. Disconnect the battery positive cable.
  3. Remove the battery hold down retainer. Refer to Battery Hold Down Retainer Replacement .

    4. Important: Do not tip the battery more than 40 degrees during battery adjustment.

  4. Adjust the battery for access.

    5. Object Number: 201375 Size: SH

    Important: Do not tip the battery more than 40 degrees during battery insulator removal.

  5. Remove the battery insulator.

Installation Procedure

    Object Number: 201375 Size: SH

    Important: Do not tip the battery more than 40 degrees during battery insulator installation.

  1. Install the battery insulator.

    2. Important: Do not tip the battery more than 40 degrees during battery adjustment.

  2. Return the battery to the proper position.
  3. Install the battery hold down retainer. Refer to Battery Hold Down Retainer Replacement .
  4. Connect the battery positive cable.

    5. Tighten
    Tighten the battery positive cable terminal bolt to 15 N·m (11 lb ft).

  5. Connect the battery negative cable. Refer to Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection .
