The power steering gear pressure line is grounding out.

Inspect the power steering pressure line for the following conditions:

Loose rack bearing preload adjustment

Tighten the rack bearing preload adjustment to specification. Refer to Steering Gear Rack Bearing Preload Adjustment - Off Vehicle .

Loose steering gear

1. Inspect the power steering gear for proper installation. Refer to Steering Gear Replacement .
2. Tighten the power steering gear mounting bolts to 80 N·m (59 lb ft).

Loose tie rod ends

1. Inspect the tie rod ends. Refer to Steering Linkage Inspection .
2. Replace the tie rod ends. Refer to Rack and Pinion Outer Tie Rod End Replacement

Loose intermediate steering shaft universal joints

1. Inspect the intermediate steering shaft universal joints. Refer to Intermediate Steering Shaft Replacement .
2. Replace the intermediate steering shaft universal joints if necessary. Refer to Intermediate Steering Shaft Replacement .
