Are any bulb filaments open?

Replace the sunshade illuminated mirror lamp bulb(s).

Is the repair complete?

  1. Remove the sunshade from the headliner. Refer to Sunshade Replacement .
  2. Turn the ignition switch from LOCK to RUN.
  3. Connect a test light between the sunshade illuminated mirror harness connector terminals 1 and ground.

Does the test light illuminate?

Connect a test light between the sunshade illuminated mirror harness connector terminals 1 and 2.

Does the test light illuminate?

Go to Step 7

Repair a poor connection in circuit 1732 between the sunshade illuminated mirror and S386.

Is the repair complete?

  1. Inspect the sunshade illuminated mirror connector terminal for a poor connection.
  2. If the connection is OK, replace the sunshade.

Repair a poor connection or an open in circuit 850.

  1. Turn the ignition switch to LOCK.
  2. Reconnect the connectors and reinstall the components that were removed.
