  1. Press the hazard switch to the ON position.
  2. Turn the ignition switch to the RUN position.
  3. Using a test light, backprobe the hazard lamp/turn signal lamp flasher harness connector terminal A1 and terminal B2.

Does the test light illuminate?

Repair a poor connection or an open in circuit 1750 between the hazard lamp/turn signal lamp flasher harness connector terminal B2 to G201.

Is the repair complete?

Go to Diagnostic System Check - Lighting Systems

Using a test light, backprobe between the hazard lamp/turn signal flasher harness connector terminal B2 and terminal C1.

Does the test light flash?

--

Go to Step 5

Go to Step 4

Replace the hazard lamp/turn signal flasher. Refer to Hazard and Turn Signal Flasher Replacement .

Is the repair complete?

Using a test light, backprobe between C201 terminal E13 and ground.

Does the test light flash?

Go to Step 7

Repair a poor connection or an open in circuit 16.

Replace the turn signal switch. Refer to Multifunction Turn Signal Lever Replacement - On Vehicle in Steering Wheel and Column - Tilt.
