Removal Procedure


    Object Number: 362096  Size: SH
  1. Lower the rear of the headliner. Refer to Headlining Trim Panel Replacement in Interior Trim.
  2. Remove the rear shelf trim. Refer to Rear Window Shelf Trim Panel Replacement in Interior Trim.
  3. Carefully pull the tape and the wiring harnesses away from the rear window inner upper panel.
  4. Disconnect the jumper harness from the body wiring harness.
  5. Disconnect the coaxial cable from the body wiring harness.
  6. Carefully disconnect the rear window antenna cable jumper from the rear window antenna connector.
  7. Remove the antenna amplifier bolt.
  8. Remove the antenna amplifier.

Installation Procedure

    Notice: Use the correct fastener in the correct location. Replacement fasteners must be the correct part number for that application. Fasteners requiring replacement or fasteners requiring the use of thread locking compound or sealant are identified in the service procedure. Do not use paints, lubricants, or corrosion inhibitors on fasteners or fastener joint surfaces unless specified. These coatings affect fastener torque and joint clamping force and may damage the fastener. Use the correct tightening sequence and specifications when installing fasteners in order to avoid damage to parts and systems.

  1. Install the antenna amplifier and the antenna amplifier bolt.
  2. Tighten
    Tighten the antenna amplifier bolt to 2 N·m (18 lb in).

  3. Connect the rear window antenna cable jumper to the rear window antenna connector.
  4. Connect the coaxial cable to the body wiring harness.
  5. Connect the jumper harness to the body wiring harness.
  6. Position the wiring harnesses to the rear window inner upper panel. Secure with tape.
  7. Install the rear shelf trim. Refer to Rear Window Shelf Trim Panel Replacement in Interior Trim.
  8. Install the headliner. Refer to Headlining Trim Panel Replacement in Interior Trim.
