Removal Procedure

    Object Number: 362118 Size: SH
  1. Remove the rear seat cushion. Refer to Rear Seat Cushion Replacement in Seats.
  2. Disconnect the antenna extension cable from the antenna amplifier lead.
  3. Remove the right carpet retainers. Refer to Carpet Retainer Replacement in Interior Trim.
  4. Remove the right center lower pillar trim. Refer to Center Pillar Lower Trim Panel Replacement in Interior Trim.
  5. Adjust the rear carpet for access to the wiring harness as required.
  6. Remove the right instrument panel (IP) insulator. Refer to Instrument Panel Insulator Replacement in Instrument Panel, Gauges and Console.
  7. Remove the IP compartment. Refer to Instrument Panel Compartment Replacement in Instrument Panel, Gauges and Console.
  8. Adjust the front carpet for access to the wiring harness as required.
  9. Adjust the radio for access. Disconnect the antenna extension cable from the rear of the radio. Refer to Radio Replacement .
  10. Cut the visible ends of the extension cable in the instrument panel compartment area.
  11. Cut the visible ends of the extension cable in the rear shelf area.
  12. Remove the antenna extension cable cut ends from the vehicle.

Installation Procedure

    Object Number: 362118 Size: SH
  1. Install the antenna extension cable.

    2. Important: Use electrical tape in order to secure the antenna extension cable to the top of the wiring harness.

    Ensure that the cable is secured to the harness at least every 150 mm (6 in).

  2. Route and secure the antenna extension cable.
  3. Connect the antenna extension cable to the rear of the radio. Install the radio. Refer to Radio Replacement .
  4. Install the instrument panel (IP) compartment. Refer to Instrument Panel Compartment Replacement in Instrument Panel, Gauges and Console.
  5. Install the right IP insulator. Refer to Instrument Panel Insulator Replacement in Instrument Panel, Gauges and Console.
  6. Return the carpet to the proper location.
  7. Install the right center lower pillar trim panel. Refer to Center Pillar Lower Trim Panel Replacement in Interior Trim.
  8. Install the right carpet retainers. Refer to Carpet Retainer Replacement in Interior Trim.
  9. Connect the antenna extension cable to the antenna amplifier lead.
  10. Install the rear seat cushion. Refer to Rear Seat Cushion Replacement in Seats.
