Removal Procedure

  1. Disconnect the negative battery cable. Refer to Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection in Engine Electrical.
  2. Remove the instrument panel accessory trim plate. Refer to Instrument Panel Accessory Trim Plate Replacement in Instrument Panel, Gauges and Console.
  3. Remove the front floor console if equipped. Refer to Front Floor Console Replacement in Instrument Panel, Gauges and Console.

  4. Object Number: 410372  Size: SH
  5. Remove the HVAC control assembly mounting bolts.

  6. Object Number: 410369  Size: SH
  7. Disconnect the electrical connector.
  8. Remove the HVAC control assembly.

Installation Procedure


    Object Number: 410369  Size: SH
  1. Connect the electrical connector.

  2. Object Number: 410372  Size: SH
  3. Install the HVAC control assembly.
  4. Notice: Use the correct fastener in the correct location. Replacement fasteners must be the correct part number for that application. Fasteners requiring replacement or fasteners requiring the use of thread locking compound or sealant are identified in the service procedure. Do not use paints, lubricants, or corrosion inhibitors on fasteners or fastener joint surfaces unless specified. These coatings affect fastener torque and joint clamping force and may damage the fastener. Use the correct tightening sequence and specifications when installing fasteners in order to avoid damage to parts and systems.

  5. Install the HVAC control assembly mounting bolts.
  6. Tighten
    Tighten the control assembly bolts to 2 N·m (18 lb in).

  7. Install the instrument panel accessory trim plate. Refer to Instrument Panel Accessory Trim Plate Replacement in Instrument Panel, Gauges and Console.
  8. Install the front floor console if equipped. Refer to Front Floor Console Replacement in Instrument Panel, Gauges and Console.
  9. Connect the negative battery cable. Refer to Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection in Engine Electrical.
