Removal Procedure
  1. Remove the front door trim panel. Refer to Front Side Door Trim Panel Replacement .
  2. Remove the water deflector. Refer to Front Side Door Water Deflector Replacement .

    3. Object Number: 337325 Size: SH
  3. Remove the 2 window to regulator bolts by raising the window far enough to gain access to the bolts through the door metal.
  4. Raise and tape the window in the full up position.

    5. Object Number: 388503 Size: SH
  5. Remove the 4 regulator mounting bolts.
  6. Remove the 3 regulator motor bolts.
  7. Remove the armrest bracket.
  8. Remove the regulator from the door.
  9. Remove the electrical connector.

Installation Procedure

    Object Number: 388503 Size: SH
  1. Position the regulator by the door.
  2. Connect the regulator motor to the door electrical harness.
  3. Thread the 3 regulator motor screws onto the regulator motor.
  4. Thread the top 2 bolts onto the regulator rail and also the bottom front bolt.
  5. Position the regulator motor inside the door and hang it in the key slots in the inner metal panel.
  6. Hang the regulator rail assembly into the key slots in the inner panel.
  7. Install the 4th screw into the rail assembly.

    8. Notice: Use the correct fastener in the correct location. Replacement fasteners must be the correct part number for that application. Fasteners requiring replacement or fasteners requiring the use of thread locking compound or sealant are identified in the service procedure. Do not use paints, lubricants, or corrosion inhibitors on fasteners or fastener joint surfaces unless specified. These coatings affect fastener torque and joint clamping force and may damage the fastener. Use the correct tightening sequence and specifications when installing fasteners in order to avoid damage to parts and systems.

  8. Install the window regulator motor bolts.

    9. Tighten
    Tighten the window regulator motor bolts to 10 N·m (89 lb in).

    Important: In order to ensure proper orientation of the window regulator to the door, tighten the window regulator bolts in the sequence; lower rear, upper rear, lower front, upper front.

  9. Install the 4 regulator rail bolts.

    10. Tighten
    Tighten the 4 window regulator bolts to 10 N·m (89 lb in).

  10. Remove the tape and lower the window.
  11. Install the 2 window to regulator bolts by lowering the window far enough to gain access to the bolts through the door metal.

    12. Tighten
    Tighten the window to regulator bolts to 10 N·m (89 lb in).

  12. Install the armrest bracket.
  13. Install the water deflector. Refer to Front Side Door Water Deflector Replacement .
  14. Install the trim panel. Refer to Front Side Door Trim Panel Replacement .
