Makes 🢒 Buick 🢒 2001 🢒 Regal (China) 🢒 Engine 🢒 Engine Mechanical - 2.5L (LE8) 🢒 Engine Front Cover Removal
  1. Drain the engine oil.
  2. Remove the throttle body and intake manifold. Refer to Intake Manifold Replacement .
  3. Remove the left and right cylinder head covers. Refer to Camshaft Cover Replacement - Left Side and Camshaft Cover Replacement - Right Side .
  4. Remove the water pump pulley.
  5. Remove the water pump drive belt.
  6. Remove the 3 bolts and the thermostat cap.
  7. Remove the 3 bolts from the power steering pump bracket and remove bracket.
  8. Remove the crankshaft balancer. Refer to Crankshaft Balancer Replacement .
  9. Remove the lower oil pan. Refer to Lower Oil Pan Removal .
  10. Remove the upper oil pan. Refer to Upper Oil Pan Removal

    11. Object Number: 648662 Size: SH
  11. Disconnect the crankshaft position (CKP) sensor connector.
  12. Remove the bolt and the crankshaft position (CKP) sensor.
  13. Remove the bolts and the front cover (1).
