Removal Procedure
  1. Remove the seat headrest for clearance. Refer to Front Seat Head Restraint Replacement .
  2. Remove the adjuster track covers. Refer to Front Seat Adjuster Track Finish Cover Replacement .
  3. Operate the seat in the full forward to the mid-position and the full up position.

    4. Object Number: 305124 Size: SH
  4. Remove the two seat adjuster to the floor pan bolts, located at the rear of the seat.
  5. Tip the seat forward and remove the front seat retractor side belt anchor nut.
  6. Remove the front seat retractor side belt from the front seat.
  7. Disconnect the power seat electrical connector if equipped.
  8. Disengage the seat front hooks holding the seat to the floor pan.
  9. Remove the front seat from the vehicle.

Installation Procedure
  1. Position the front seat in the vehicle.

    2. Object Number: 305124 Size: SH
  2. Tip the seat forward and engage the front hook attachments.
  3. Connect the seat belt reminder electrical connector on the driver's side only.
  4. Install the power seat electrical connector if equipped.
  5. Install the seat retractor side belt to the front seat.

    6. Notice: Use the correct fastener in the correct location. Replacement fasteners must be the correct part number for that application. Fasteners requiring replacement or fasteners requiring the use of thread locking compound or sealant are identified in the service procedure. Do not use paints, lubricants, or corrosion inhibitors on fasteners or fastener joint surfaces unless specified. These coatings affect fastener torque and joint clamping force and may damage the fastener. Use the correct tightening sequence and specifications when installing fasteners in order to avoid damage to parts and systems.

  6. Install the front seat retractor side belt anchor nut.

    7. Tighten
    Tighten the front seat retractor side belt anchor nut to 42 N·m (31 lb ft).

  7. Install the seat adjuster-to-floor pan bolts.

    8. Tighten
    Tighten the seat adjuster to floor pan bolts to 42 N·m (31 lb ft).

  8. Install the adjuster track covers. Refer to Front Seat Adjuster Track Finish Cover Replacement .
  9. Instalal the seat headrest. Refer to Front Seat Head Restraint Replacement .
  10. For seats equipped with six-way power adjusters, cycle the seat. Verify that the left and right adjusters operate correctly and are synchronized.
