- Turn the ignition switch to the LOCK position.
- Connect the Tech 2 scan tool to the Data Link Connector
(DLC).
- Turn the ignition switch to the RUN position.
- Use the Tech 2 scan tool in order to monitor the status
of the CTSY LAMP SW.
- While observing the Tech 2 scan tool, turn the IP dimmer
switch from off to DOME, and back to off.
Does the Tech 2 scan tool display that the status of the CTSY
LAMP SW is high when the IP dimmer switch is in the DOME position?

- Turn the ignition switch to the LOCK position.
- Disconnect the Tech 2 scan tool from the DLC.
- Turn the ignition switch to the RUN position.
- Close all the vehicle doors.
- While observing the courtesy lights, turn the IP dimmer switch
to the DOME position.

- Inspect the BCM connector C1 terminal D15 for a poor terminal
contact. Perform repairs as necessary.
- If the BCM Connector C1 terminal D15 is OK, then replace the BCM.
