  1. Turn the ignition switch to the RUN position.
  2. Turn the dimmer switch to the HIGH position.
  3. Turn the headlamp switch to the PARK position.
  4. Turn the ignition switch to the RUN position.

The following Instrument Panel (IP) lamps are all ON:

    • The headlamp switch.
    • The door lock switches.
    • The window switches.
    • The front and rear HVAC control.
    • The rear seat audio control.
    • The instrument cluster.
    • The fog lamp switches.
    • The outside remote control rearview mirror switch.
    • The electronic traction control switch.
    • Rear door cigar lighters.

The Vacuum Florescent (VF) lamps step dim.

    • Radio.
    • HVAC controls.
    • Instrument cluster.

Turn the dimmer switch slowly to the LOW position.
  1. The brightness of the IP lamps slowly decrease to low.
  2. The brightness of the VF displays slowly decrease to low.

  1. Turn the dimmer switch to the OFF position.
  2. Turn the park lamp switch to the OFF position.
    • The IP lamps turn OFF.
    • The VF displays turn OFF.
