Makes 🢒 Buick 🢒 2006 🢒 Rendezvous - AWD 🢒 Engine 🢒 Engine Mechanical - 3.5L 🢒 Engine Mount Strut Bracket Replacement - Right Side

Removal Procedure

    Object Number: 1640844 Size: SH
  1. Remove the engine mount strut. Refer to Engine Mount Strut Replacement - Right Side .
  2. Remove the engine mount strut bracket bolts from the radiator support, if required.
  3. Remove the engine mount strut bracket, if required.
  4. If removal of the engine mount strut/air conditioning (AC) compressor bracket is required, perform the following steps.

  5. Remove the drive belt. Refer to Drive Belt Replacement .
  6. Remove the AC compressor bolts.
  7. Remove and set the AC compressor aside.

    8. Object Number: 1640835 Size: SH
  8. Remove the engine oil cooler pipe bolt (1), if equipped.
  9. Remove the engine mount strut/AC compressor bracket bolts.
  10. Remove the engine mount strut/AC compressor bracket.

Installation Procedure

    Object Number: 1640835 Size: SH
  1. Install the engine mount strut/AC compressor bracket.

    2. Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in the Preface section.

  2. Install the engine mount strut/AC compressor bracket bolts.

    3. Tighten
    Tighten the bolts to 50 N·m (37 lb ft).

  3. Install the engine oil cooler pipe bolt (1), if equipped.

    4. Tighten
    Tighten the bolt to 10 N·m (89 lb in).

  4. Position the AC compressor aside.
  5. Install the AC compressor bolts.

    6. Tighten
    Tighten the bolts to 50 N·m (32 lb ft).

  6. Install the drive belt. Refer to Drive Belt Replacement .

    7. Object Number: 1640844 Size: SH
  7. Install the engine mount strut bracket, if required.
  8. Install the engine mount strut bracket bolts to the radiator support, if required.

    9. Tighten
    Tighten the bolts to 50 N·m (32 lb ft).

  9. Install the engine mount strut. Refer to Engine Mount Strut Replacement - Right Side .
