 Engine Tilt Strap
Removal Procedure
Notice: Twist the spark plug boot one-half turn in order to release the boot.
Pull on the spark plug boot only. Do not pull on the spark plug wire or the
wire could be damaged.
- Remove the intake manifold cover. Refer to 
Intake Manifold Cover Replacement
.
 
- Remove the spark plug wire(s) (2, 4, and 6) from the left side spark plug(s).
 
- Remove the spark plug wire(s) (2, 4, and 6) from the ignition coil.
 
- Remove the spark plug wire(s) from the retaining clips.
 
- Remove the spark plug wire(s) from the engine.
 
- Rotate the engine for access to the rear of the engine. Refer to 
Rotating the Engine for Service Access
 .
 
- Remove the spark plug wire(s) (1, 3, and/or 5) from the right side spark plug(s).
 
- Remove the spark plug wire(s) (1, 3, and/or 5) from the ignition coil.
 
- Remove the spark plug wire(s) from the retaining clip.
 
- Remove the spark plug wire(s) from the engine.
 
- If you are replacing the spark plug wire(s), transfer any of the following components:
 
| •  | Spark plug wire conduit | 
 
| •  | Spark plug wire retaining clips | 
 
Installation Procedure
- Install the spark plug wire(s) to the engine.
 
- Install the spark plug wire(s) to the retaining clip.
 
- Install the spark plug wire(s) (1, 3, and 5) to the ignition coil.
 
- Install the spark plug wire(s) (1, 3, and 5) to the right side spark plug(s).
 
- Release the tension on the 
J 41131 
.
 
- Remove the 
J 41131 
.
 
- Install the engine mount struts. Refer to 
Engine Mount Strut Replacement - Left Side
 and 
Engine Mount Strut Replacement - Right Side
.
 
- Install the spark plug wire(s) to the retaining clips.
 
- Install the spark plug wire(s) (2, 4, and/or 6) to the ignition coil.
 
- Install the spark plug wire(s) (2, 4, and/or 6) from the left side spark plug(s).
 
- Install the intake manifold cover. Refer to 
Intake Manifold Cover Replacement
