Removal Procedure
- Raise and support the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle in General Information.
- Remove the vent hose clamp (2) from the vent hose (1).
- Release the grommet securing the vent hose to the vehicle underbody.
- Remove the vent hose from the differential assembly vent tube by carefully twisting the hose.
Installation Procedure
- Install the vent hose (1) to the differential assembly.
- Install the vent hose clamp (2) to the vent hose.
- Secure the grommet on the vent hose to the vehicle underbody.
- Lower the vehicle.
