The body control module (BCM) controls the following courtesy lamps when the door switch is ON and an door is opened:

• | The inside rear view mirror lamps |
• | The cargo lamp |
• | The roof rail reading lamp, LH |
• | The roof rail reading lamp, RH |
• | The sunshade lighted vanity mirror lamps, LH |
• | The sunshade lighted vanity mirror lamps, LH |
The BCM monitors all but the sunshade lighted vanity mirror lamps for a open in the ground circuit.
This diagnostic procedure supports the following DTC:
DTC B1354 Courtesy Lamps Control Circuit Open
Voltage supplied to the module is in the normal operating range, approximately 10-16 volts.
• | The BCM detects an open in the controlled ground circuit of the courtesy lamps. |
• | The condition is present for more then 3 ms. |
The BCM stores DTC B1354 in memory.
