For 1990-2009 cars only
- Remove the manual 2-1 band servo assembly (55-58).
- Remove the servo piston cushion spring (60).
- Inspect the servo piston cushion spring (60) for distortion.
- Inspect the servo piston case bore for wear and scoring.
