Front Fender Wheel Opening Molding Replacement Rendezvous

Removal Procedure

    Object Number: 755150 Size: SH
  1. Remove the screws from the front wheel opening molding.

    2. Object Number: 851583 Size: SH
  2. Remove the screws from the front corner of the fascia.
  3. Pull outward on the corner of the front fascia to access the front wheel opening molding retainer.

    4. Object Number: 851585 Size: SH
  4. A thin, plastic flat-bladed tool may be used between the fender and molding to help release the retainers.

    5. Remove the front wheel opening molding from the fender.

  5. Remove the wheel opening molding retainers from the molding, if necessary.

Installation Procedure

    Object Number: 851589 Size: SH
  1. Install the wheel opening molding retainers to the molding, if removed.

    2. Object Number: 851585 Size: SH
  2. Position the front wheel opening molding to the fender.
  3. Align the push-in retainers to the holes in the fender.
  4. Press the front wheel opening molding to the fender until all of the retainers are fully seated.

    5. Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in the Preface section.

  5. Install the front wheel opening molding screws to the front wheel opening molding.

    6. Tighten
    Tighten the screws to 2 N·m (18 lb in).

  6. Press the corner of the front fascia to the fender to seat the retainer.
  7. Install the screws to the corner of the front fascia.

    8. Tighten
    Tighten the screws to 2 N·m (18 lb in).

Front Fender Wheel Opening Molding Replacement Aztek

Removal Procedure
  1. Remove the front wheel liner. Refer to Front Fender Liner Replacement in Body Front End.
  2. Remove the bolts from the corner of the front fascia. Refer to Front Bumper Upper Fascia Replacement in Bumpers.

    3. Object Number: 618031 Size: SH
  3. Remove the screws from the front wheel opening molding.
  4. Pull the corner of the front fascia outward to access the front retainer on the wheel opening molding.

    5. Object Number: 621008 Size: SH
  5. Use a thin, plastic flat-bladed tool between the fender and the molding to help release the retainers.

    6. Remove the molding from the fender.

Installation Procedure

    Object Number: 621008 Size: SH
  1. Position the molding to the fender.
  2. Align the push-in retainers to the holes in the fender.
  3. Press the molding to the fender until all of the retainers are fully seated.

    4. Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in the Preface section.


    Object Number: 618031 Size: SH
  4. Install the screws to the front wheel opening molding.

    5. Tighten
    Tighten the screws to 2 N·m (18 lb in).

  5. Install the bolts to the corner of the front fascia. Refer to Front Bumper Upper Fascia Replacement in Bumpers.
  6. Install the front wheel liner. Refer to Front Fender Liner Replacement in Body Front End.
