Front Carpet Wet After Extended Driving (Install Extension on Evaporator Drain)

Some customers may comment that the carpeting is wet in the front of the vehicle after long periods of driving.

This wet condition may be caused because the evaporator drain pipe is short and the water wicks its way into the vehicle around the drain pipe. The water is the result of normal condensation caused by high humidity, high ambient temperature, low blower speed and long periods of driving.

Install the extension elbow on the evaporator drain. Refer to the illustration above.
