The following diagnosis might be helpful if the vehicle exhibits the symptom(s) described in this PI.

Low Washer Fluid message appears to be missing.

Some customers may comment that the Low Washer Fluid message as related in owners manual Section 3 does not come on when the tank is empty. The windshield washer fluid tank level sensor and wiring was eliminated at the beginning of the 2004 model year. The Low Washer Fluid message will not turn on in these vehicles. The washer fluid level can be observed by opening the engine compartment.

Please follow this diagnostic or repair process thoroughly and complete each step. If the condition exhibited is resolved without completing every step, the remaining steps do not need to be performed.
