Circuit Description

The height sensor internal circuitry monitors the body to suspension height and detects when this is out of range

Conditions for Running the DTC

Ignition On.

Conditions for Setting the DTC

When the height sensor internal circuitry detects a body to suspension height that is out of range.

Action Taken When the DTC Sets

Leveling functions are disabled.

The Inflator function continues to operate

Conditions for Clearing the DTC

The conditions that caused the DTC to set have been removed.

Diagnostic Aids

This DTC is set when ride height is physically being held out of range.

This DTC can set when the sensor link is damaged or detached.

Test Description

The number(s) below refer to the step number(s) on the diagnostic table.

  1. Tests for mechanical damage to height sensor link.

  2. Height sensor replacement.

Operate the vehicle within the Conditions for Running the DTC as specified in the supporting text.
