Roof Console Replacement Rendezvous

1. Open the OnStar® door panel from the overhead console.
2. Disconnect the OnStar® electrical connectors.
3. Remove the screws from the overhead console.



4. Open the garage door panel and remove the screws.
5. Disconnect the electrical connectors.
6. Remove the overhead console from the vehicle.

1. Connect the electrical connectors for the garage door and the OnStar® consoles.
2. Install the overhead console to the vehicle.

Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in the Preface section.




3. Install the overhead console screws.

Tighten
Tighten the screws to 2 N·m (18 lb in).

4. Close the garage door panel and the OnStar® door on the overhead console.

Roof Console Replacement Aztek

1. Open the overhead compartments in order to access the fasteners.
2. Remove the screws.
3. Remove the second seat audio control from the overhead console, if equipped. Refer to Second Seat Audio Control Replacement in Entertainment.
4. Remove the overhead console from the vehicle.

Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in the Preface section.




1. Install the screws to the overhead compartments.

Tighten
Tighten the screws to 2 N·m  (18 lb in).

2. Install the second seat audio controls to the overhead console. Refer to Second Seat Audio Control Replacement in Entertainment.
3. Close the overhead compartment doors.
