Removal Procedure

    Object Number: 190530 Size: SH
  1. Remove the oil pan. Refer to Oil Pan Replacement .
  2. Remove the oil pump bolt.
  3. Remove the oil pump and the oil pump drive shaft.

    4. Object Number: 1699993 Size: SH
  4. Remove the oil deflector nuts and oil deflector, if required.

Installation Procedure

    Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in the Preface section.


    Object Number: 1699993 Size: SH
  1. Position the oil deflector to the studs and install the nuts, if necessary.

    2. Tighten
    Tighten the nuts to 25 N·m (18 lb ft).

    Important: Rotate the oil pump drive shaft as necessary in order to obtain the engagement with the oil pump drive unit.

  2. Install the oil pump drive shaft and the oil pump.
  3. Install the oil pump bolt.

    4. Tighten
    Tighten the bolt to 41 N·m (30 lb ft).

  4. Install the oil pan. Refer to Oil Pan Replacement .
