Tools Required

GE-47622 Hose Clamp Pliers

1. Drain the cooling system. Refer to Cooling System Draining and Filling in Engine Cooling.
2. Remove the wiper motor module assembly. Refer to Windshield Wiper System Module Replacement in Wipers/Washer Systems.
3. Disconnect the vacuum hose from the brake booster and reposition.
4. Remove the air cleaner outlet duct. Refer to Air Cleaner Outlet Duct Replacement in Engine Controls - 3.5 L or Air Cleaner Inlet Duct Replacement in Engine Controls - 3.6 L.
5. Remove the transmission fluid filler tube. Refer to Transmission Fluid Filler Tube Replacement in Automatic Transaxle - 4T65-E.



6. Disconnect the inlet heater hose (1) from the inlet heater pipe (2).



7. Disconnect the heater hose clamp using the GE-47622 .
8. Disconnect the inlet heater hose from the heater core.
9. Remove the inlet heater hose.

1. Install the inlet heater hose.



2. Connect the inlet heater hose to the heater core.
3. Connect the heater hose clamp using the GE-47622 .



4. Connect the inlet heater hose (1) to the inlet pipe (2).
5. Install the transmission fluid filler tube. Refer to Transmission Fluid Filler Tube Replacement in Automatic Transaxle - 4T65-E.
6. Install the air cleaner outlet duct. Refer to Air Cleaner Outlet Duct Replacement in Engine Controls - 3.5 L or Air Cleaner Inlet Duct Replacement in Engine Controls - 3.6 L.
7. Connect the vacuum hose to the brake booster.
8. Install the wiper motor module assembly. Refer to Windshield Wiper System Module Replacement in Wipers/Washer Systems.
9. Fill the cooling system. Refer to Cooling System Draining and Filling in Engine Cooling.
