Opening the Liftgate Without Electrical Power Rendezvous

Use a small flat-bladed tool to remove the plug from the liftgate trim panel.
Inset a flat-bladed tool in to the access hole and rotate the liftgate latch clockwise to release.
Open the liftgate.
