Rear Seat Adjuster Replacement Split Bench

Removal Procedure

  1. Remove the rear split bench seat. Refer to Rear 50-50 Split Seat Replacement .
  2. Remove the rear split bench seat release handle and bezel.

  3. Object Number: 629154  Size: SH
  4. Remove the bolts from the rear seat adjuster.

  5. Object Number: 629155  Size: SH
  6. Remove the rear seat adjuster from the rear seat cushion frame.

Installation Procedure


    Object Number: 629155  Size: SH
  1. Install the rear seat adjuster to the rear seat cushion frame.

  2. Object Number: 627494  Size: SH

    Notice: Use the correct fastener in the correct location. Replacement fasteners must be the correct part number for that application. Fasteners requiring replacement or fasteners requiring the use of thread locking compound or sealant are identified in the service procedure. Do not use paints, lubricants, or corrosion inhibitors on fasteners or fastener joint surfaces unless specified. These coatings affect fastener torque and joint clamping force and may damage the fastener. Use the correct tightening sequence and specifications when installing fasteners in order to avoid damage to parts and systems.

  3. Install the bolts to the rear seat adjuster.
  4. Tighten
    Tighten the rear adjuster bolts to 10 N·m (89 lb in).

  5. Install the rear split bench seat release handle and bezel.
  6. Install the rear split bench seat. Refer to Rear 50-50 Split Seat Replacement .
