Removal Procedure

    Object Number: 1641020 Size: SH
  1. Disconnect the number 6 spark plug wire from the spark plug.
  2. Remove the oil level indicator.
  3. Remove the oil level indicator tube bracket bolt.
  4. Remove the oil level indicator tube.

Installation Procedure

    Object Number: 1641020 Size: SH
  1. Apply sealant around the oil level indicator tube 12.7 mm (0.50 in) below the bead. Refer to Adhesives, Fluids, Lubricants, and Sealers for the correct part number.
  2. Install the oil level indicator tube into the engine block.

    3. Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in the Preface section.

  3. Install the oil level indicator tube bracket bolt.

    4. Tighten
    Tighten the bolt to 25 N·m (18 lb ft).

  4. Install the oil level indicator.
  5. Connect the number 6 spark plug wire to the spark plug.
