Removal Procedure

    Important: Components of the DVD player cannot be serviced separately. Replace as an assembly.

  1. Move the screen to the open position.

    2. Object Number: 1130253 Size: SH
  2. Open the rear screw cover using a flat-bladed tool.

    3. Object Number: 1131328 Size: SH
  3. Remove the 4 retaining bolts.
  4. With one hand holding the DVD player assembly, pull down the retainer from the bracket.

    5. Object Number: 865248 Size: SH
  5. Allow the DVD player assembly to come to rest on the hook.

    6. Object Number: 865256 Size: SH

    Important: Observe the routing of the wiring harness (2).

  6. Disconnect the wire connector (1).
  7. Slightly lift up the DVD player assembly so that the hook can be removed from its resting position.
  8. Remove the DVD player from the vehicle.

Installation Procedure

    Object Number: 865248 Size: SH
  1. Install the DVD player hook (1) into the hook opening.

    2. Object Number: 865256 Size: SH
  2. Connect the wire connector (1) to the DVD player assembly.

    3. Important: Ensure the harness is routed to the right side of the large plastic pin (2) as shown.

  3. Install the harness retainer to the panel.
  4. Swing the rear part of the assembly to the headliner so that the retainer is seated.

    5. Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in the Preface section.

  5. Install the rear retaining bolts.

    6. Tighten
    Tighten the bolts to 9 N·m (80 lb in).

  6. Move the screen to the open position.
  7. Install the front retaining bolts (2).

    8. Tighten
    Tighten the bolts to 9 N·m (80 lb in).

  8. Close the rear screw cover.
