Tie Rod Replacement for Buick Rendezvous - FWD 2007

1. Raise and support the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle .



2. Remove the tie rod bolt.
3. Remove the tie rod nut.
4. Remove the tie rod.

1. Install the tie rod.

Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in the Preface section.

2. Install the tie rod nut.

Tighten
Tighten the tie rod nut to 80 N·m (59 lb ft).

3. Install the tie rod bolt.

Tighten
Tighten the tie rod bolt to 85 N·m (63 lb ft).

4. Adjust the rear toe angle. Refer to Rear Toe Adjustment .
5. Lower the vehicle.
