Removal Procedure
- Remove the instrument cluster panel trim plate. Refer to
Instrument Panel Cluster Trim Plate Bezel Replacement
.
- Remove the radio screws.
- Pull the radio away from the instrument panel (I/P).
- Disconnect the electrical/audio electrical connectors from the radio.
- Disconnect the coaxial cable connector from the radio.
- Remove the radio.
Installation Procedure
- Connect the coaxial cable connector to the radio.
- Connect the electrical/audio connectors to the radio.
- Install the radio to the I/P.
Important: If the radio locator tab is difficult to align to the I/P locator opening, pull the radio toward you and reposition the antenna cable.
- Align the radio control locator tab to the I/P locator hole while carefully pressing the radio into the I/P until fully seated.
Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in the Preface section.
- Install the radio screws.
Tighten
Tighten the radio screws to 2.5 N·m (22 lb in).
- Install the I/P cluster trim plate. Refer to
Instrument Panel Cluster Trim Plate Bezel Replacement
.
- Perform the radio set-up procedure. Refer to
Control Module References
for programming and setup information.
