CLEANING OF BOSE SPEAKER COVERS PROCEDURE

VEHICLE AFFECTED: 1983 'E' AND 'K' CARS THE FOLLOWING ADDITION PERTAINS TO THE CLEANING OF THE BOSE SPEAKER COVERS ON 1983 'E' AND 'K' CARS. - ALWAYS CLEAN A COMPLETE SPEAKER COVER. MASK SURROUNDING TRIM. - MIX GM MULTIPURPOSE POWDERED CLEANER IN STRICK ACCORDANCE WITH THE DIRECTIONS ON THE CONTAINER LABEL. - APPLY SPRAY AND WASH OR EQUIVALENT ONTO A SPONGE AND THOROUGHLY DAMPEN THE SPEAKER COVER. DO NOT SPRAY CLEANER DIRECTLY ONTO SPEAKER COVER MATERIAL. AFTER ONE MINUTE, APPLY GM MULTIPURPOSE CLEANER. - USE SUDS ONLY ON A CLEAN SPONGE OR SOFT BRISTLE BRUSH. DO NOT SATURATE THE FABRIC OR RUB IT HARSHLY WITH A BRUSH. IMMEDIATELY AFTER CLEANING, COMPLETELY WIPE OFF EXCESS SUDS WITH A CLEAN DAMP ABSORBENT TOWEL OR CLOTH. NOTICE: IMMEDIATELY AFTER WIPING, FORCE-DRY THE FABRICK WITH A HEAT GUN. HEAT GUN MUST BE SET AT THE COLD SETTING, TO PREVENT FABRIC DAMAGE. THIS INFORMATION WILL BE INCLUDED IN THE NEXT PRINTING OF THE 1983 'E' AND 'K' CAR OWNER'S GUIDE.
