INTERMITTENT DASH BRAKE TELLTALE LIGHT OPERATION

MODELS AFFECTED: 1986-89 RIVIERA, AND 1988-89 REATTA

Some 1986-1989 Riviera and Reatta vehicles may experience a condition of dash brake telltale light staying on, or remains off with parking brake set. This condition may be caused by a cracked brake switch.

To correct this condition replace the park brake switch with Part Number 3521242.

Parts are currently available from GMSPO.

IMPORTANT: The old park brake switch has other General Motors applications. Therefore, orders for the original part number switch will not be superseded by part number 3521242.
