Some 1988 Reattas before VIN breakpoint 900600 may experience zero oil pressure reading for several minutes after a cold start intermittently accompanied by the low oil pressure warning message on the Graphic Control Center, the oil pressure warning telltale, and chime.
This condition may be caused by water in the sensor freezing on the sensor contacts. If this condition occurs and engine oil pressure is normal, replace the oil pressure sensor, Part Number 1644131.
