SERVICE PROCEDURE - AUTOMATIC DOOR LOCK DISABLE
If requested by the customer, the ADL feature may be disabled without affecting the remaining RKE functions by using the procedure outlined in this bulletin.
Procedure: REATTA ---------- 1. Remove left lower quarter trim panel, refer to Service Manual (Section 10-6-2).
2. Remove RKE wiring harness connector from RKE module.
3. Move terminal from cavity C-13 (circuit 356) of RKE connector to cavity C-12.
4. Reinstall RKE connector.
5. Reinstall left lower quarter trim panel.
1. Remove compass module bracket retaining bolt.
2. Remove compass module bracket.
3. Remove RKE wiring harness connector from RKE module.
4. Move terminal from cavity C-13 (circuit 356) of RKE connector to cavity C-12.
5. Reinstall RKE connector.
6. Reinstall compass module bracket.
7. Reinstall compass module bracket retaining bolt.
