ERRATIC TEMP. READING OR E.C.C CONTROLS ARE TOO HOT/COLD

SOME 1991 ELDORADOS BUILT BEFORE VIN BREAKPOINT 602439, SEVILLES BUILT BEFORE VIN BREAKPOINT 802449, AND RIVIERAS BUILT BEFORE VIN BREAKPOINT 402341 MAY EXPERIENCE ONE OR MORE OF THE FOLLOWING CONDITIONS:

O INTERMITTENT CODE B110 O ERRATIC OUTSIDE TEMPERATURE SENSOR READINGS O ELECTRONIC CLIMATE CONTROL TOO WARM OR TOO COLD AT TIMES

THESE CONDITIONS MAY BE CAUSED BY A BAD CONNECTION AT THE OUTSIDE AIR TEMPERATURE (OAT) SENSOR UNDER HOOD. SOME VEHICLES WERE BUILT WITH MALE TERMINALS ON BOTH SIDES OF THE OAT SENSOR (MALE TERMINALS ON THE SENSOR AND MALE TERMINALS ON THE HARNESS). TO REPAIR THIS CONDITION REPLACE THE TWO MALE TERMINALS ON THE HARNESS WITH FEMALE TERMINALS, P/N 12010182 (INCLUDED IN THE TERMINAL REPAIR KIT J-38125).

FOR WARRANTY PURPOSES USE LABOR OPERATION N6280 AT .5 HOUR.
