Did you perform the entire Exterior Lights System Check?

  1. Disconnect the turn signal flasher connector.
  2. Turn the ignition switch to the RUN position.
  3. Measure the voltage between the turn signal flasher connector cavity A (PNK).

Is battery voltage measured?

B+

Go to Step 3

  1. Place the turn/hazard switch in the left turn position.
  2. Connect a fused jumper between the turn flasher connector cavity A (PNK) and cavity B (PPL).

Do the left turn lamps light?

Replace the turn signal flasher.

Is the repair complete?

Repair the open or the short to ground in CKT 539 (PNK). Refer to Wiring Repairs in Wiring Systems.

Test CKT 16 (PPL) for an open or short to ground. Refer to Testing for Continuity or Testing for Short to Ground in Wiring Systems.

Is CKT 16 OK?

Replace the turn/hazard switch assembly.
