Did you perform the Instrument Cluster System Check?

  1. Disconnect the front door jamb switch connector.
  2. Turn the ignition switch to RUN.
  3. Measure the voltage from the front door jamb switch connector terminal B (left) or terminal C (right) to ground.

Does the voltage approximately equal the specified value?

12 V

Go to Step 4

Inspect CKT 745 (GRY/BLK) for an open.

Is the wiring OK?

Go to Step 5

Measure the voltage between the front door jamb switch connector terminals from one of the following sides:

  1. For the left side, measure the voltage between terminal B and terminal D.
  2. For the right side, measure the voltage between terminal A and terminal C.

Does the voltage approximately equal the specified value?

12 V

Go to Step 6

Inspect the instrument cluster connector C1 terminal F2 for proper contact.

Is the contact OK?

Replace the instrument cluster.

Is the repair complete?

Inspect CKT 151 (BLK/WHT) for an open.

Is the wiring OK?
