Sunload and Twilight Sentinel Sensor Replacement Buick

Removal Procedure
  1. Partially remove the defroster grille. Refer to Defroster Grille Replacement .

    2. Object Number: 487899 Size: SH
  2. Disconnect the sunload (1) and twilight sentinel (2) sensors from the defroster grille by turning a quarter turn.

    3. Remove the sensors from the defroster grille.

    Remove the defroster grille.

  3. Disconnect the electrical connectors.

    4. Remove the sensors.

Installation Procedure

    Object Number: 487899 Size: SH
  1. Partially install the sunload sensors (1).
  2. Connect the electrical connectors.
  3. Install the sensors (1, 2) to the defroster grille.
  4. Turn the sensors a quarter turn in order to secure the sensors.
  5. Install the defroster grille. Refer to Defroster Grille Replacement .

Sunload and Twilight Sentinel Sensor Replacement Oldsmobile

Removal Procedure
  1. Remove the defroster grille. Refer to Defroster Grille Replacement .

    2. Object Number: 487873 Size: SH
  2. Disconnect the twilight sentinel connector (2) by turning a quarter turn.
  3. Remove the twilight sentinel sensor.
  4. Disconnect the sunload sensors (3) from the defroster grille by turning a quarter turn.

    5. Remove the sensors from the defroster grille.

  5. Disconnect the electrical connectors (1).

    6. Remove the sensors.

Installation Procedure

    Object Number: 487873 Size: SH
  1. Install the sunload sensors (3) to the defroster grille.

    2. Turn the sensors a quarter turn in order to secure the sensors.

  2. Connect the electrical connectors (1).
  3. Install the twilight sentinel sensor.
  4. Connect the twilight sentinel connector (2) by turning a quarter turn.
  5. Install the defroster grille. Refer to Defroster Grille Replacement .
