Removal Procedure


    Object Number: 393372  Size: SH
  1. Remove the rear air intake duct clamp (2).
  2. Remove the rear air intake duct (1).

  3. Object Number: 393376  Size: SH
  4. Disconnect the IAT sensor electrical connector (2) from the IAT sensor (3). Refer to Intake Air Temperature Sensor Replacement .
  5. Release the two air cleaner assembly hold down clamps (4).
  6. Remove the air cleaner assembly (1).
  7. Remove the air cleaner element (5).
  8. Inspect the air filter element for dust, dirt, and water. Replace if required.

Installation Procedure

  1. Install the air cleaner element (5) into the air cleaner assembly.
  2. Install the air cleaner assembly (1).
  3. Install the hold down clamps (4).
  4. Install the IAT sensor connector (2) to the IAT sensor (3).

  5. Object Number: 393372  Size: SH
  6. Install the rear air intake duct (1).
  7. Install the rear intake duct clamp (2).
  8. Notice: Use the correct fastener in the correct location. Replacement fasteners must be the correct part number for that application. Fasteners requiring replacement or fasteners requiring the use of thread locking compound or sealant are identified in the service procedure. Do not use paints, lubricants, or corrosion inhibitors on fasteners or fastener joint surfaces unless specified. These coatings affect fastener torque and joint clamping force and may damage the fastener. Use the correct tightening sequence and specifications when installing fasteners in order to avoid damage to parts and systems.

    Tighten
    Tighten the clamp to 2 N·m (18 lb in).
