Did you perform the Instrument Cluster System Check?

  1. Disconnect the right front door lock actuator switch connector.
  2. Turn the ignition switch to the RUN position.
  3. Measure the voltage between the lock actuator connector terminal C (BLK/WHT) and ground.

Is the voltage equal to the specified value?

12 V

Go to Step 5

Inspect CKT 746 (BLK/WHT) for an open or a short to ground.

Is there an open or a short to ground in CKT 746?

Go to Step 4

Go to Step 6

Repair the open or the short to ground in CKT 746. Refer to Wiring Repairs in Wiring Systems.

Did you complete the repair?

--

Go to Diagnostic System Check - Instrument Cluster

Measure the voltage between the lock actuator connector terminal C (BLK/WHT) and terminal A (BLK/WHT).

Is the voltage equal to the specified value?

12 V

Go to Step 10

Inspect the instrument cluster connector C2 terminal B4 for proper terminal contact.

Is the terminal contact OK?

Replace the instrument cluster. Refer to Instrument Cluster Replacement .

Inspect CKT 151 (BLK/WHT) for an open.

Is there an open in CKT 151?

Inspect the right front door lock actuator connector for proper terminal contact.

Is the connector terminal contact OK?
