Did you perform the Instrument Cluster System Check?

  1. Disconnect the suspected door latch assembly connector.
  2. Turn the ignition switch to the RUN position.
  3. Measure the voltage between the connector terminal C (LT GRN/BLK) and ground.

Is the voltage equal to the specified value?

12 V

Go to Step 5

Inspect CKT 748 (LT GRN/BLK) for a short to ground.

Is CKT 748 OK?

Repair a short to ground in CKT 748. Refer to Wiring Repairs in Wiring Systems.

Did you complete the repair?

Measure the voltage between the connector C and the connector D.

Is the voltage equal to the specified value?

12 V

Inspect the instrument cluster connector C2 terminal B5 for proper terminal contact.

Is the terminal contact OK?

Replace the instrument cluster. Refer to Instrument Cluster Replacement or Instrument Cluster Replacement .

Inspect CKT 151 (BLK/WHT) for an open.

Is CKT 151 OK?

Repair the open in CKT 151. Refer to Wiring Repairs in Wiring Systems.

Inspect the suspect rear door latch assembly connector for proper terminal contact.

Is the terminal contact OK?
