Removal Procedure

    Object Number: 420409 Size: SH
  1. Remove the right sound insulator. Refer to Instrument Panel Insulator Panel Replacement - Right Side in Instrument Panel, Gauges and Console.
  2. Remove the HVAC programmer bracket. Refer to Programmer Replacement in HVAC System-Automatic.
  3. Disconnect the electrical connector.
  4. Remove the PASS-Key ® II theft deterrent module (2) from the bracket (1).

Installation Procedure

    Object Number: 420409 Size: SH
  1. Slide the Pass-Key ® II theft deterrent module (2) on to the bracket (1).
  2. Connect the electrical connector.
  3. Install the HVAC programmer bracket. Refer to Programmer Replacement in HVAC System-Automatic.
  4. Install the right sound insulator. Refer to Instrument Panel Insulator Panel Replacement - Right Side in Instrument Panel, Gauges and Console.
