WATER LEAK IN TRUNK AREA INSTALL CAULK MOUNTING STUDS

SUBJECT: WATER LEAK IN TRUNK AREA (INSTALL STRIP CAULK AROUND BEZEL MOUNTING STUDS)

MODELS AFFECTED: 1992 ROADMASTER SEDANS (BUILT PRIOR TO VIN BREAKPOINT NR472540)

CONDITION:

--------- Water leak in trunk area.

CAUSE:

----- May be due to missing washers on opera lamp bezel mounted in sail panel area.

CORRECTION:

---------- Remove bezel and opera lamp and install strip caulk around the bezel mounting studs in place of the missing washers and re-install bezel to vehicle.

Refer to the Roadmaster Service Manual, Section 8B or 10-9 for opera lamp location and instructions for removal and reinstallation.
