This is a Customer Satisfaction Product Improvement. Dealers need not follow-up with owners. Dealers should install labels on involved vehicles in their inventory and those where the customer requests the dealers' assistance. Campaign follow-up lists (after initial mailing) and ranking information will not be maintained.
General Motors has determined that certain 1992 Buick Roadmaster model vehicles may have been assembled with mislabeled fuse blocks and/or owner's manuals which state the incorrect fuse specifications. Although these vehicles were assembled with the correct fuses, subsequent fuse replacements based on incorrect information could result in inadequate circuit protection or repeated fuse failures.
To prevent this condition from occurring, owners of involved vehicles will be sent a new fuse block label and, if applicable, a new fuse usage specification insert for the owner's manual. Since these materials can easily be installed, and to reduce owner inconvenience, owners will be provided instructions to allow them to correct this condition themselves. However, if they desire, owners are being given the option to have the materials installed by their dealers at no charge.
Involved are the 1992 Buick Roadmaster model vehicles built within the following VIN breakpoints:
PLANT YEAR MODEL PLANT CODE FROM THROUGH ---- ----- ----- ----- ---- -------
VEHICLES REQUIRING FUSE BLOCK LABEL AND OWNER MANUAL INSERT
1992 Roadmaster Willow Run W NW400001 NW400645 Estate Wagon

Involved vehicles have been identified by Vehicle Identification Number Computer Listings. Computer listings contain the complete Vehicle Identification Number, owner name and address data, and are furnished to involved dealers with this bulletin.
Dealers are to service all vehicles subject to this campaign at no charge to owners, regardless of mileage, age of vehicle, or ownership, from this time forward.
Whenever a vehicle subject to this campaign is taken into your new or used vehicle inventory, or it is in your dealership for service in the future, you should take the steps necessary to be sure the campaign correction has been made before reselling or releasing the vehicle.
Owners of vehicles recently sold from your new vehicle inventory are to be contacted by the dealer, and arrangements made to make the required correction according to instructions contained in, this bulletin.
Owners will be notified of this campaign on their vehicles by Buick Motor Division (see copy of owner letters included with this bulletin). Owner notification will contain a new fuse block label and installation instructions and, if required, a new fuse usage specification sheet for insertion in the owner's manual.
Labels required to complete this activity are being provided to owners of record and in the dealer mailing at no charge to the dealer. If additional labels are required, they may be obtained from TUAR, for a limited time, by calling (313) 239-5552.

General Motors bulletins are intended for use by professional technicians, not a "do-it-yourselfer". They are written to inform those technicians of conditions that may occur on some vehicles, or to provide information that could assist in the proper service of a vehicle. Properly trained technicians have the equipment, tools, safety instructions and know-how to do a job properly and safely. If a condition is described, do not assume that the bulletin applies to your vehicle, or that your vehicle will have that condition. See a General Motors dealer servicing your brand of General Motors vehicle for information on whether your vehicle may benefit from the information.
