Application: 1991 Buick Roadmaster Wagon before VIN MW405519 and 1992 Roadmaster Sedan before VIN NR409466.
----------- Potential for scrapes on hands when in area of rear wheelhouse area (i.e. washing rear tires, changing tires, etc.).
------ Rough edge on body side moulding protrudes past rear wheelhouse flange into rear inner wheelhouse.
----------- Apply protective tape to body side moulding as follows:
1. Remove 3 screws holding moulding to rear wheelhouse flange.
2. Remove moulding from vehicle by pushing down on upper edge of moulding and rotating lower edge of moulding away from vehicle body.
3. Clean both sides of flange on body side moulding that covers wheelhouse flange with adhesive cleaner such as 3M #08984 or equivalent.
4. Wrap 3M tape #5430 or equivalent over edge of flange on body side moulding.
5. Reinstall moulding on vehicle by placing moulding on upper retainers, pushing moulding downward, rotating lower edge of moulding toward vehicle and releasing moulding.
6. Reinstall 3 screws through moulding into wheelhouse flange.
7. Repeat for opposite side.
