HARD SHIFT - 2ND GEAR LOCK-UP LOCK PIN

MODELS AFFECTED: ANY VEHICLES EQUIPPED WITH FIVE SPEED TRANSXLE

If a condition of hard shifting or second gear lock-up is experienced on a five-speed manual transaxle after internal repairs, it may be caused by missing or incorrectly installed lock pins. This is especially true in the case of items #39 and #41 in the illustration. These two pins are slightly different in length and shape; and if installed in the wrong position, may cause one or both of the above conditions.

Length .482" to .486" long (12.3mm) Cosmetic Difference Spherical Ends

Item #41 Part # 94250116

Length .510" to .514" long (13mm) Cosmetic Difference Conical Chamfer on each end.
