TPS ADJUSTMENT CORRECTION PROCEDURE ERROR (MANUAL)

VEHICLES AFFECTED: 1983 & 1984 'J' Models Equippeci With 2.0L LQ5 Engine (VIN Code 'P')

Step 4 of the Throttle Position Sensor Adjustment Procedure shown on Page 6C15-5 of the 1983 Divisional Shop Manuals and on Page 6C15-4 of the 1984 Divisional Shop Manuals is in error. The voltage should be measured between terminals A and B, not B and C as presently shown.

Please make a note of this in your copies of the shop manuals.
