THM 125C TRANSMISSION USAGE INFORMATION

VEHICLES AFFECTED: 1984 'J' and 'P' Series Vehicles Equipped With THM 125-C Transmissions

Production of the following 1984 model year automoblies has been extended into the 1985 model year. The 1984 model automobiles are: Cadillac Cimarron, Chevrolet Cavalier, Buick Skyhawk, Oldsmobile Firenza, Pontiac 2000 Sunbird and Pontiac Fiero.

The vehicles listed above will be built with 1985 model THM 125-C transmissions. When servicing any of the 125-C transmissions used in these vehicles verify the model year by looking at the transmission nameplate located on top of the transmission by the manual shaft.

NOTE: If the transmission being serviced is a 1984 model, you must refer to the 1984 parts list, and if it is a 1985 model, you must refer to the 1985 parts list in order to obtain the correct parts.
