ERRATIC HORN OPERATION

Vehicles Affected: 1985 'J' Models

CONDITION:

---------- Some 1965 'J' Models may experience erratic horn operation while the horn pad is depressed.

CAUSE:

----- The condition may be caused by an intermittent ground between the horn and chassis attachment.

CORRECTION:

----------- Replace the existing attaching J-Nut and bolt with a serrated-type J-Nut and bolt. Use new part numbers 11509595 serrated-type J-Nut and 11502661 bolt for the above described condition. See illustration.
