Some early-built 1988 Skyhawks may exhibit delayed and/or insufficient cooling with the air conditioning mode selected. This is due to the engine cooling fan not operating in the A/C mode when the outside air temperatures is below 85 F.
This condition can be addressed by installing the following service PROMS:

Vehicles are currently being produced with corrected PROMS, beginning with the following VIN breakpoints:
